Technically speaking, the term “Pesticide” encompasses the subcategories of Insecticides, Fungicides, Herbicides, Nematicides, and Rodenticides.

I’ve always thought of Roundup as a herbicide (kills unwanted plant life) rather than a pesticide (kills insects or other plants that threaten wanted plant life). Is there some definition somewhere that says herbicides are encompassed in the universe of pesticides? It would have been nice to have that explained.

Sprayed in the AM the sun heats the crop field and these lethal chems start to gas off and carried by air currents. You can smell it thousands of yards away from the spray site. Birds and insects flying thru this chemical fog die in huge numbers from respiratory failure as they inhale these toxins into their lungs. Pollinator insects dead by the billions as well as birds in every crop growing area that use toxic pesticides more toxic than Round up. Just research what is sprayed by peanut farmers. Dam right I buy organic, peanut butter etc and grow my own food.
