I hope more and more farmers will recognize the importance of feeding the soil over giving their hard-earned profits to agribusiness to degrade their soil faster and faster. The money not spent on those inputs will make the bottom line much more profitable, whether or not you have a “bumper” crop that year. Bumper crops are the bane of the farmers life; costs go up and return goes down.

Most no-till farming relies on blanket application of herbicides like round-up in place of plowing in cover crops. No-till sounds so friendly & sustainable, but usually is not.

I am also practicing conservation agriculture but on a small-scale, about 1.4 hacters. So how does Rick manage weeds on 7 000acres? I guess the whole field is not covered with much. Any Facebook page to follow him and for more questions?

We need more trailblazers like Rick, who understand the importance of non-GMO, non-til, organic and regenerative farming practices. The public needs to do their part and support farmers like this by reading labels and making informed decisions.
I’ll switch to Dannon.
