As yesterday was awareness day for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Trans, and Two-Spirits #mmiwgt2s, we distributed over $4,000 from the emergency fund for Indigenous Mutual Aid organized by women, two spirit and trans folx.
MMIWGT2S is a campaign initiated in so-called “Canada” to address extremely disproportionate and unreported violence against Indigenous womxn.
The movement has since extended throughout the so-called “US” with a focus on resource exploitation and the industry’s “man camps.”
